Supports We Offer
Peer Support
Our trained peer supporters with lived experience of mental health challenges and recovery facilitate group support for members.
We meet every Sunday afternoon from 2.30 to 5.30 at Danesfield House, 23 Sea Road, Galway, H91 KX8N. Please contact us on 0877435810 to let us know you are coming. These sessions are facilitated by trained peer supporters.

People talk in turn about what is going on for them in their recovery and we talk, share stories, listen and have tea.
It is a friendly and safe environment where everyone can meet, talk or just hang out. We ask that people arrive either at 2.30pm or just before the break at 3.45 to join us for snacks or just after the break at 4.15. This avoids disruption when someone is sharing their experience.
Everyone is welcome!
About Cosáin
Cosáin is the Irish word for 'pathways', reminding us that we all have our own unique journey in recovery.

We share values of compassion, respect, equality, hope, inspiration and connection. Our mission is to provide support to others on their journey. Our Vision is to create a community that works together to provide education and activities that support mental health recovery.

Cosáin is a Galway based mental health recovery group. We support people with mental health challenges in identifying and pursuing their own path to recovery. Cosáin is peer led by people with their own experience of mental health challenges and recovery.
